The Ajax Classic range of turret mills has come back to the range due to overwhelming demand. All the range is high quality and heavy duty with the AJT4 and AJT5 having fully powered knees giving real high power on a turret mill. The AJT1S is the smallest in the range and comes with a 3Hp varispeed head on an R8 or 30 ISO spindle and a 44” x 10” table and a servo power feed. The AJT1 has a bigger head at 4Hp and a larger table at 50” x 10”. The AJT3 has the same basic construction as a AJT1, but with a 40 ISO spindle for heavier work. The famous AJT4 shares the 4Hp 40 ISO head with the AJT3 but has a fully powered knee for real milling work with a 54” x 11” table. The AJT5 is the biggest in the range, boasting a 5.5Hp head and a 54” x 11” table and again a fully powered knee. Weighing in at 1600Kgs this is a really powerful turret mill.
